The holy cow

It's been a pretty ordinary week (in nepali standard), painting a seaworld on the wall at the hospital. It's even better than the djungle!!!

On my way over here, to the internetplace, I thought about getting some moore money from the atm... I quickly changed my mind though when I saw that a big fat cow had parked in front of the door to the atm. What to do?

cows everywhere on streets... but they pray to cows..and cows dont haress untill provoked.. so i guess we need to walk from their sides..very scary thou..

Ya one more thing... did u notice the dogs on the roads? dogs sometimes at night when u r walking alone are scary...

cows react only sometimes to red color..



if u have travelled to some places in nepal/nearby himalayas in india for treking- do let me know as i am planning to go there for treaking in dec'10 end..infact its a two week tour- first week i m coming to delhi then to rajasthan will go to agra, a national park in ranthambore and also see a bird santuary at bharatpur.. then planning to go in himalayas

do let me know if u know some good guide/tour operator for treaking in himalayas..

It's usually best to go to Kathmandu and Thamel, where you can find a lot of different agencies for trekking and compare prizes. It's alot cheaper that way than booking it in advance!
